Now, MEET TODAY’S GUEST:
Some people say LinkedIn for making business connections is awful because everyone seems like they are trying to sell to everyone else. And while that can be true, my experience with today’s guest shows LinkedIn can be a fabulous place to meet folks from all over who share the same interests and business values as you.
At this moment, I don’t even remember what the LinkedIn post was about where Frank Agin and I first connected. What I do recall is thinking his comment was exactly in line with my thinking, so I checked out his profile, loved what he shared about himself and his business, and sent him a connection request. After a brief exchange in the private inbox, he asked me to follow up via email.
We then had a conversation, and yesterday he interviewed me for HIS podcast, Networking RX. As we talked, I realized I wanted to share HIS story with you and here we are today! Here’s his bio:
Frank Agin is the founder and president of the national networking organization AmSpirit Business Connections, where he works to empower entrepreneurs, sales representatives and professionals around the country to become more successful through networking. In addition, he is a “sought after” speaker and consultant to companies and organizations on topics related to professional networking and business relationship development.
He’s written numerous articles on professional networking and is the author of several books, some of which include, “Foundational Networking: Building Know, Like and Trust to Create a Lifetime of Extraordinary Success,” “The Champion: Finding the Most Valuable Person In Your Network,” “Chase Greatness: Life Lessons Revealed Through Sports.” He is also the host of the weekly Networking Rx podcast, which provides insights and advice for becoming more successful through networking.
Frank has a law degree and MBA from the Ohio State University and a B.A. in Economics and Management from Beloit College and continues his professional development through a variety of programs and sources.
He lives with his wife in Blacklick, Ohio and together have three children. As community involvement, he is active with The Charitable Roundtable, an organization that helps small non-profits and social initiatives become more successful through networking.
