Now, MEET TODAY’S GUEST:
Ken McArthur has been called “the nicest and most likable guy in Internet Marketing” by some of the top marketers in the industry, and for good cause. He’ll move heaven and earth to help someone in need and make an impact on just one person.
Selected by Fast Company as one of the 20 Most Influential People Online, Ken’s powerful call to action, “The Impact Manifesto: You Make A Difference Whether You Want To Or Not” was selected for publication by Seth Godin’s brainchild “Change This” which places his manifesto in the company of manifestos written by Seth Godin, Hugh MacLeod, Guy Kawasaki, Chris Anderson, Jay Conrad Levinson, Tom Peters, Malcolm Gladwell and Robert Scoble.
Ken is regularly featured on leading television, radio and podcast shows around the globe and today he joins me!
Ken McArthur has worn many hats in his career, but I came to know him in his Internet Marketing event producer days, back in 2008. We met at an event hosted by someone else that July, where Ken was a speaker and I was an attendee. We talked at length one evening, and during his presentation he called me up to the stage and handed me his microphone. Within 3 weeks I was on HIS stage, and have appeared as frequently as several times per year on his stages since then.
When I saw Ken McArthur is making a movie (actually 3 movies!), and now doing a Kickstarter campaign to fund it, I had to know more. As of this morning’s show prep he is VERY close to being 100% funded – but it’s an all-or-nothing deal and he’s in the home stretch with only a few days left to reach his goal.
Hear why he decided making a movie became part of his mission and why using crowdfunding is how he plans to pay for it. And if you have a heart to help and see an independent filmmaker tell a story about creating impact in a positive way, you can donate to his Kickstarter Campaign here. Even
if when he reaches his goal, he’ll still need more funding to make even more things happen, so go now and make your donation to fund something positive. For a donation of $10 or more you’ll even get your name in the credits at the end of the film! Now that’s a pretty cool benefit!
